    The world of Charmaine's still life watercolor paintings is an invitation into an aesthetic paradise of perfect artistic objects.

    The viewer realizes Charmaine has captured a perfect moment in time. She invites us to view the serenity and beauty of her paintings from the gleaming polished silver, intricately designed china, precious oriental vases and magnificently cut crystal glasses all of which are juxtaposed with freshly cut flowers from her yard.

    Her watercolours well deserve the American Watercolor Society and international acclaim that they have received. Charmaine's art work hangs on many walls of prestigious homes and offices around the world.

Scratch Board Prints
    Charmaine's scratch board art developed from her love for animals and etching.  Unable to pursue etching in her home studio she turned to scratchboard drawing.

    Her precise and delicate drawing style gives the viewer the sensation that they can reach out and touch each subject whether it is fur, feathers or rough skin of an elephant ot the smooth texture of a dolphin.

    All original scratch boards are black and white.  Prints of the originals are hand colored by the artist, using Prisma colored pencils. 		Scratch Board Owl

  Bronze Sculpture Title  
Red Bronze Cat
      Charmaine recently started working as a bronze sculptor. She studied sculpture as an undergraduate and later as a grad student.  Sculpture has always been her first art interest. She believes the value of three dimensional art develops strength and depth to her two dimensional work.

    Having always been a cat person and owner of three cats she had the perfect subjects for her sculpture. The first "Stretch" is a study of her Siamese cat Sam. He stretches every morning letting all know the day has begun.
